Container query

A CSS rule that responds to the size of its own container, not the size of the browser window.

What It Means

A container query lets an element change its own layout based on the size of its parent container, instead of the size of the entire browser window. That makes a component genuinely reusable, since it can reflow correctly no matter where on the page it ends up.
